Alexandra Chisholm, VMD, DACVIM

Dr. Chisholm earned her veterinary degree at the University of Pennsylvania. After two years in private practice she returned to academia to pursue a residency in internal medicine. Upon completion of her residency at Auburn University, she continued as an assistant professor conducting research and teaching on clinical rotations. She has published in numerous journals and textbooks. Alex joined our hospital in 2000 and practices all aspects of internal medicine with extensive training in endoscopy and ultrasound. She enjoys individualizing advanced treatment modalities to improve her patient’s health and the peace of mind of their families.
       
  Joanne Shinozaki, DVM, MS, DACVIM

Dr. Shinozaki completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Purdue University after earning her veterinary degree from the University of California, Davis in 1996. She then attended Washington State University where she completed her residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine along with a Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine. Joanne is the recipient of numerous awards for research and academic excellence. Her skills encompass all aspects of internal medicine including endoscopy and ultrasound. Joanne enjoys the chance each day to help pets with serious medical problems regain their quality of life.

Dr. Riordan received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 2002. She then pursued an internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists before entering a residency in small animal medicine at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine which was completed in 2006. Laura is a diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. She joined the staff of PESC in 2006, and her special interests include infectious and metabolic diseases.
